Okay, seriously I don't get it. Not devastating, just depressing. I hate every character in this book, they're all stupid. It's not remotely funny, even in a sarcastic way. The pacing is quick and interesting, and Unferth is a master with the words. But it was just damn depressing.

This book started off with me thinking WTH is going on here? The middle I kind of got into this book. The end I thought WTH just happened? Deb Olin Unferth has a very interesting writing style that I don't really love but don't hate enough to stop reading the book. In the end I'm just looking for a book to tell me a good story and not make my head explode. Three star read because I was kind of sucked into the story,
