Beautifully written exploration of relationships and how they grow/stagnate. An exploration of a very complicated family. Really liked how quiet this one was - definitely not hugely plot driven. But a very lovely character study. Definitely recommend! So beautiful!

Well that book was one of the fastest reads ever. I'm on the fence of whether I really liked the writing style. There were 2 passages that stood out for me:

"I have said before: It interests me how we find ways to feel superior to another person, another group of people. It happens everywhere, and all the time. Whatever we call it, I think it's the lowest part of who we are, this need to find someone else to put down.

and
