HAWTHORNE had me intrigued right from the start. I loved the cadence of Ms. Ballance’s words. She paints a fantastic picture. It has everything: mystery, romance and a prodigal returning home.
The story took quite a few unexpected twists, especially at the end. I highly recommend this story for anyone who likes a little mystery.
