John Robison was full of playful life as a young kid. But, just like me, he had an uphill road to climb in life. And it took him forty years to grow up. It took me a heckuva lot longer!

As a fellow aspie, I could have been reading a book about my own life, just set in a different location. In my first attempt at writing my own first book, there were so many parallels between John Elder's life and my own, that I ended up going in a completely different direction so as to not just rewrite his wonderful tale.
