What Members Thought
The book started out unique and interesting. It ended up retreading a familiar path about two-thirds of the way through. I would have enjoyed the book a great deal more if it had continued to focus on the language of flowers and perhaps explored the origins of the language, as it appeared it was going to. Instead the language became existential to the story, in my opinion, and was simply of value because it existed.
