For the first time in a long time I was disappointed in a book by Karen Kingsbury now to be fair I was a huge Baxter fan and maybe because this is different that was part of it but I doubt it. I raed a lot and I either like a book or I don't, I rarely compare them to others by the same author or other books in general.

This book just didn't do it for me. I loved the concept and parts of it were very heartwarming but overall it was just ok.

Molly Allen and Ryan Kelly were an unlikely pair, she coming from a very rich family and Ryan the son of a school teacher. A California girl, with money, and a simple guitar player from Carthage Mississippi. They seemed so different, but connected in a deep way, that made them each believe that maybe they would be able to get past the expectations others had for their lives. The Nook version is only 156 pages. Beware --- it ends on page 129 of 156. :) The last 20+ pages are acknowledgments and a book study.
