Macsen Sloan, I underestimated him in Every Which Way. My eyes have been opened to the real Macsen Sloan and he's quiet, smart, intense, and misunderstood. He's nothing like I pegged him to be and that's a very good thing.

3.5 stars!!!! I love to watch new authors as they develop their story telling skills. I can see so much growth in Calia Read' s technique and I could feel a much improved flow to this book. BRAVO!
