Look at my stars...I don't do that shit often.
I. LOVED. THIS. STORY. Well, part one of this story. I didn't read reviews or the blurb before starting this. I'd heard it was good and dove in. Wow. I just finished & my mouth is kind of hanging open. I loved Ellie. I felt a connection to her from the get-go. She is somebody I can totally relate to. I also loved Camden from the moment he was introduced.

WHOA. That's what I said out loud as I finished Sins & Needles, along with "You've got to be kidding me?! It can't end this way. I need the next book ASAP!"
This was my first Karina Halle book and it will definitely NOT be my last! This book blew me away! It has a very unique story line with con artist, drug lords, and mob members, which I LOVED. It was dark and gritty and just intriguing. Sins & Needles kept me on my toes and outsmarted me often.

This is a must read. Karina Halle has this awesome ability to make bad characters loveable and I fell in love with Ellie and Camden. Even when things went haywire, I still loved them. There are a few quotes that made me stop and take a breath (literally)

I have sat down on three different occasions to put together a review for this book, and I can't put into words my exact thoughts. Every once in awhile I will read a book that will literally render me speechless. That's this book. This book won me over in many ways. I held off reading Sins & Needles (#1) until after On Every Street (#.5) came out, which I recommend if you have yet to read Sins & Needles. I sometimes find myself connecting enough with characters that I can feel the emotions they're experiencing. Well with this read, I had a somewhat more hands-on experience because I found myself thinking that had I been in Ellie's shoes I'd do similar to what she had done...scary, righ ...more
