I enjoyed this interesting take on Nephilim. It was definitely full of action and twists to keep you guessing what will be happening next. I did find myself a tiny bit confused when scenes led into the next ones. It was definitely intense at times but it followed through well and had some heart pounding spots that were awesome.

Ella James definitely throws you right into the action with this one. Here you are as a reader thinking you are going to get to know the character when BAM!
Julia is a smart girl. She spent too many years in the foster care system without the luck she has had since she's lived with her foster parents.
