I absolutely loved this book! I can't believe I put this one off for as long as I did. This story gave me all the FEELS. I adore that this author was able to shock and wow me. I loved watching Julie grow and get to know quirky Celeste, adventurous Finn, and brainy but hilarious Matt. From Celeste`s endearing social awkwardness to Matt`s funny geek t-shirts I flat-out loved this book and its complex set of characters. In the end this is the timeless story of family, love, and loss told in an extraordinary way.

This book was truly something remarkable. A book that stays with you long after you turn the last page. It's not often you come across a book that has a truly unique premise (I can't say too much without giving away the surprise so just trust me on this). Each character was fully developed, lovable, and real. There were laughs, there were tears, and there was heart. As Jessica Park has said, "Lots of love, hinges, parachutes, and fonts for you!" 5 shining stars for this brilliant buried treasure you won't want to miss!

I picked up this book because of a blog post the author wrote about self publishing on Amazon and the overwhelming number of 5 star reviews it had garnered. I had my reservations about whether this book would indeed live up to the hype. I was not disappointed. The book was sweet, tender, and emotional. It pulled at my heartstrings. The characters were well developed and lovable..... I can't say enough good things about this book. WOW. I would be shocked if this book wasn't snatched up for a movie deal! I'm definitely keeping my eye out for more by this author. The book is well worth the current price ($3.99) as of this writing. In fact I think it is worth much more. This was an incredible book & no review I write will do it justice!

After reading it I just sat there trying to figure out how to right a review and I just couldn't form any sentences. I actually give this book 4.5 stars.

This was an incredibly clever story with a great plot. I love it when the author makes the characters so real and vivid that I become so invested in their lives. I cared about them, cried for/with them, and rooted for them.

Celeste was adorable and quirky and perfect. Just like Julie, I didn't want Celeste to change completely and I'm glad she didn't. This family was so broken but put on such a facade. It was heartbreaking and sad.

The fact that this book is ranked as a children’s book (on Amazon, anyway), and not simply a contemporary romance is a little perplexing to me, but may because it attracts a strong YA audience, as it should. However, (while it kills me to admit) I’m in my early forties and I absolutely cherished this love story. To quote many other reviewers, I flat out loved it. And that saves me from thinking up a clever cliché of my own.
