Not all love is neat and pretty. God, I love Jamie M for telling the truth. That's the number one rule of writing; TELL THE TRUTH! She told a really interesting story about two damaged human beings and how they found each other. She told it well. I think that they name of the book speaks multitudes; love is beautiful, but you can crash it.

ReRead!! (November 27-28, 2015): LOVE LOVED this book. It was just as epically good the second time around as it was the first. Travis... *sigh* He's so damn swoon worthy, bad, crazy-insane attitude and all. You can't help but love him.

My real rating 4.25 stars!
I really liked this book. I loved the writing, characters and different storyline. I read that some people thought that it had to much violence in it, well they are entitled to that but I didn't think so. I found it refreshingly different from the other Alpha Male Formula books that I have read. The violence was not bothersome and obviously none of it was in any way towards females. I know some reviewers commented on the violence but honestly most 8:00pm television is m ...more

Read this and other reviews at Madison Says.
Beautiful Disaster was the first book I read when I finally decided to pick myself back up off the ground after my Christian Grey hangover. It was recommended to me through iBooks as a similar read. And I know that's what a lot of people consider it: a Fifty Shades lite. I don't really see that, though. I must say, I did absolutely LOVE this book - especially that crazy, bad boy who I felt like I shouldn't at times!

HOLY awesomeness. Not all relationships are butterflies and unicorns. Who are we kidding, those really only exist in books. This was an EXTREMELY refreshing and REAL read. I am officially putting this book on my favorites list and I think this author has found a new fan. I couldn't put this book down and LOVED this story with all of my heart. Tears, laughs, and a sleepless night. If you are considering this book, just buy it. However, if you are looking for a book about butterflies and unicorns

Beautiful Disaster...that's exactly what this book is! Jamie McGuire you are a genius... I want to BE Abby! I want someone to be totally and completely willing to do whatever it takes. I want the heat and the passion...I want to know that! This book is the closest I could get and I was over the moon about it. If you haven't read it....well you're missing out!
