07/10/23 -I just saw the movie and it is nothing like the book. Maybe the first 5 minutes of movie was like the book. The movie was awful. Terrible casting. Was that Cody from Suite Life?!?!?

07/7/2012 - Love the book. I love these type of stories. Give me more.

Read this recently but just realized I never left a rating or review...

For me, it was pretty good. Not great, just pretty good. It was well written and I definitely wanted to finish it, which I did fairly quickly, but it didn't grab me the way I was expecting. Not sure if it was the storyline or the characters that just didn't quite jump off the page. Yes, there were some emotional scenes, and some steamy scenes, but it just seemed to fall a little short of my expectations.

This book is going on my faves list. It's a book that you love to hate because of the love/hate relationship. You want to HATE both Travis and and Abby for their dysfunctional relationship and the things that occur but in the process, you can't help but love them both. Some of the things that Travis does are NOT ok, but when you look at the bigger picture, he completely changes because of his love for Abby. That justifies his actions. I read this book holding my breath. I kept waiting for the other shoe to drop and the tragedy to happen. The title alone of this book gave me severe anxiety. I refuse to read synopsis or overviews of books before I read them. Knowing its a love story or mystery, thriller,etc. is good enough for me.
