I love unexpected twists in a book, but I hate them nearing the end of the story. I should probably hate this book, yet I love it. It's raw, it shocks you, it makes you smile, and it makes you cry (really). Great book :).

This book has me sooo conflicted! I wanted to give it 1 star because of the way it made me feel and the way it ended...but I have to give it 5 for the very same reason. I actually lost sleep over this book and have never felt so...ugh...I don't know how to describe what I feel! UNPREDICTABLE PAGE TURNER
Very unique characters & read. Buzz around this book well justified. Hard to classify into any one category. Romance, suspense, drama, it has it all. Read in one day. Excellent writing peppered with spicy tidbits of humor that really stuck with me:
*She's from Texas, I said, as if that explained her behavior...*
*He was like a jalapeno: bright and smooth, but dangerously hot. A small part of me wanted to bite him.*

My heart literally broke at this point and I finally accepted there would be no happily ever after for Olivia and Caleb.
I finished this book many hours ago and I still have no words for it but I can't stop thinking about it. The Opportunist was an amazing book, I loved it and I hated it all at the same time. I loved this book!! In fact, the more I think about it the more I like it! It is an easy read from the beginning. And it leaves you wanting more.... Hurry Tarryn Fisher with the next book, "Dirty Red!"

Wow, loved this book!!! This book was soooo different. Give me a minute. :)
This book made me laugh, cry, and get utterly pissed at the main characters. I hated it, I loved it, and I haven't stopped thinking about it. Even though deeply flawed, and sometimes downright scary, Olivia is real. She's a girl you probably grew up with, and this makes some of her choices easier to swollow. I grew to love her, and want to punch her in the face simutaneously. Probably much like Caleb did. This isn't ice cream, sunshine, and daisies. this is heartbreaking and in a very honest way

I lost count of all the times I was on the verge of a heart attack while reading this book! I LOVED it! I might need therapy now, but I LOVED it!
