I got a copy of this book for an honest review and here it is!

I really do love a good story where two broken people find each other. What's different about Georgia Cantwell is that there is so much more to her than the calm, collected, and poised Lady Cantwell that other people see. The same goes with Jace McLarren because he's not the manwhore and panty-chaser that people make him out to be. The fun begins when these two people end up being room mates in a 4.5 stars sipping margaritas!! (◕‿◕✿)

I really do love a good story where two broken people find each other. What's different about Georgia Cantwell is that there is so much more to her than the calm, collected, and poised Lady Cantwell that other people see. The same goes with Jace McLarren because he's not the manwhore and panty-chaser that people make him out to be. The fun begins when these two people end up being room mates in a week-long cruise ship vacation. Georgia struggles with her family's financial debt and with a secret that she has been keeping safe for two years but has been plaguing her with guilt but she doesn't escape the observant eyes of Jace. Jace, on the other hand, has his own baggage that he's dealing with but that doesn't stop him from reaching to Georgia and try to crack her calm and collected demeanor.

Full Steam Ahead is a light read but it definitely pulled me in from chapter one. I find Georgia's character relatable because all throughout the story she tries to come to terms with the fact that she can't shoulder her family's burdens and that she can't runaway from the mistake that she made in the past. Her challenge is to try make herself trust someone about these dark things in her life that she can't bear alone anymore.

As for Jace, man, HE IS ONE LOVABLE SEXY MALE LEAD. The first time we see Jace in the story, he is clad only in a towel and water is dripping from his abs and holy guacamole, he has an equally wonderful personality to match his lickable body. He really really really cares for Georgia and I found it really swoon-worthy how he went out of his way to help Georgia out with all the things she's going through.

Yasmin, Georgia's best friend, is equally lovable especially near the end of the story when Georgia tells her the truth and we see how good of a friend she is to Georgia. And okay, I really do love Elise's character because she contributed a lot to the development of Georgia and Jace's relationship.

The author answers my doubts about the seemingly falling-too-fast relationship between the two. Okay, let's face it, it's pretty hard to fall for someone in a span of a week but Valerie Chase answers that with this:
"Love? It's too soon for that word, isn't it? Only a few days have past since all this started. An intense few days, but far too early to be thinking this way. Right?" and this was in the POV of Jace so I guess that keeps our characters grounded with the reality of things. Take note that this isn't insta-love because we have a lot of sexual tension going on with Georgia wanting to resist the lickable abs of Jace and his manwhore reputation.

I can't say that I really liked this book or that I didn't like it. I feel like I want/needed more it left me too confused. The romance was very cute but I'm not left with a huge book hangover. Georgia was a little winery and let her self be bullied up until the end and I found that annoying. I really liked jace a lot tho he was a good hero. Over all this book would be 3.5 stars
