Meg Moseley knows how to tell a good story and I always enjoy her writing. I would describe this as high quality, character-driven southern fiction.

Tish McComb longs to return to the past, and buying her ancestors' home in Noble, Alabama, seems the perfect way to connect with those who came before her. When she arrives, she finds out her ancestors were the town's outcasts, making Tish one too. Will she find a place to belong, or will she be pushed out of town like her namesake was?

This book moved on at a fairly good clip, almost an antithesis of how life in the South is 'supposed' to go. That said, the pace was just right to draw me into Tish's world, and to appreciate what she was willing to do to be a blessing.
