Carole Jarvis
Meg Moseley knows how to tell a good story and I always enjoy her writing. I would describe this as high quality, character-driven southern fiction.

Tish McComb longs to return to the past, and buying her ancestors' home in Noble, Alabama, seems the perfect way to connect with those who came before her. This book moved on at a fairly good clip, almost an antithesis of how life in the South is 'supposed' to go. That said, the pace was just right to draw me into Tish's world, and to appreciate what she was willing to do to be a blessing.
I think that's the key to Tish's character. She was honestly trying to be a blessing, especially to Mel. Tish understood that we're all just sinners saved by grace, and that we need to lift up Jesus' light by showing grace to others, even when it's difficult to do

Ah, Meg. Love her writing. Love her characters. Amazing story of a Michigan girl Gone South. Tish meets up with southern folks as she tries to embrace her own history. Lovely writing, well-drawn characters. Meg is an awesome author and I look forward to her next novel.
