I have never read any "Arabian Nights" fairy tales (at least not that I recall...) and this was a retelling of "The Thousand and One Nights". I really enjoyed the stories and the writing in this little book. I loved getting a taste for the arabic culture and their stories.

This book was really good. I liked Shrazad's stories and I loved her courage and bravery and ultimate love for others! I have haerd the story of the Arabian nights once and this was a great, fun retelling. The only thing I could say I didn't like was that they crammed details at the end. Other than that it was a good book. Read it.

A tribute to story-telling..After a long time a book where I really understand the entire story because of the simple language..a book of magic storytelling it is..like the ending too..looking forward to read other stories by the same author..
