I have no words for just how amazing this series is. Depressing as shit but amazing. 5 ⭐

If Lies of the Ajungo described Paradis Island from the Attack on Titan story, Truth of the Aleke describes Marley.
Osi is a young boy who admires the magically empowered Truthseekers of his city greatly. He becomes one through an accident and finds himself tasked to root out the deadly Cult of Tutu which recently launched an attack on his people.
You could probably read this series in any order because ultimately the story is cyclical. Tutu, the hero of Ajungo, lived 500 years ago and his story ...more

I still don't know what to rate this one. It left a bit of a sour taste in my mouth. I am not sure if it is because some of the narratives reminded me of certain propoganda narratives used frequently in media currently or what. I am not sure if this does what it sets out to. Unless the purpose is to say that Osi is a used and abused idiot.
