So I know it's been ages since I actually finished this book, but I'm only updating for it now. I just haven't had the motivation before now.

I didn't think I'd seen the movie adaptation for this one, but I must have as I remember scenes from it. I love how chock-full these books are, they're totally fun and adventurous. And the banter that goes on XD And I loove how it's not romance-centered :D Seeing another side to (view spoiler) was really cool too.

So this is the part where I say, it sucks that I have already watched the second movie because in my mind I'm saying, "oh yeah I know that."

And this is the part where I say it sucks that I have read The Lost Hero first before this series. Because in my mind I was like, "oh I know that Percy and THalia will become friends because I read the Lost Hero already. I'm spoiled myself, and not in the good way.

But enough of the whining...

The book was fantastic. Lived up to my expectation as a good series ...more

i had not read the lightning thief coz i had already seen the movie but when i read the plot of the first book i was surprised to find a lot of changes.anyway so i didn have a lot of expectation from this book coz honestly this book feels like a comical parody of clash of the titans and i usually like serious plots. but reading this book felt different in a good way. it has a nice plot with a mixture of wit and comedy with a nice build up and has just the right amount of pace meaning you will no ...more
