Ok, this book is hands down the sweetest thing ever. I lied. Aaron is absolutely the sweetest thing ever. A man who loves his family and dotes on his niece and nephew as though they were his world. He is patient, kind, and sensitive. He is also a real life cowboy with the ass hugging jeans to match. I mean they make calendars of men that look like him but nothing can compare to the real thing. OMG....I love Kaylee Ryan's books. Her male characters are SO swoon worthy. They are strong, respectful, protective, and caring men. Like Holy Hotness Batman...their personality alone will make you hot. This book was no exception. I've been anticipating this book pretty much since like the third time I finished Southern Pleasure!! I fell in love with Aaron right away and I couldn't wait for his story!! And boy was I given a treat!!!

I have not had the ‘pleasure' of reading Southern Pleasure, book 1 in the Southern Heart series, but after finishing Southern Desire I will be downloading it to my kindle ASAP. Southern Desire was overall a sweet, sexy and heart-warming read. I read it in one afternoon while my kids were napping, I just couldn’t put the book down. Wow such a sexy swoony read!!! Aaron is a heart stopping man that makes me want to move to the country! This book had little to no angst but plenty of hot steamy connection. Whitney comes to town to be with family & make a change, to move forward with her life after & out of the pain. She is very apprehensive to get involved with anyone. She is so shy & timid. The feels in this book. WOW. I loved Aaron in the first book, and you could tell he was genuine, loving, and ready for "the one"- he just hadn't found her yet. Then Whitney comes along, and they become friends...extremely attracted to one another friends, but friends nonetheless...until it's more.

A perfect follow up to Southern Pleasure. I didn't think there was any way Evan could be topped, but then Aaron swoops in and he is HOT!!!! Aaron is a perfect combination of Southern gentleman, rugged outdoorsy man and sex on a stick. He falls hard for Whitney pretty early on and his mission to make her happy and take away her pain is beautiful. I love the roles Evan and Kinley and Lexi played in this story too. Another sweet 5 star read by Kaylee Ryan!

Sweet story.
Sweet story with a little bit of sadness and a few very important health lessons for women. I enjoy the way the author adds the breast cancer advice/awareness. I’m happy that Whitney finds Aaron and she could be “the one for him”. Whitney needs all the support and love during this difficult times, Aaron and his family are there for her. Love the story.
