Let me just say this is my favorite book by Kaylee. I have read them all, but Aaron Mills is my favorite character. He really knows how to swoon. Ok, this book is hands down the sweetest thing ever. I lied. Aaron is absolutely the sweetest thing ever. A man who loves his family and dotes on his niece and nephew as though they were his world. He is patient, kind, and sensitive. He is also a real life cowboy with the ass hugging jeans to match. I mean they make calendars of men that look like him but nothing can compare to the real thing. OMG....I love Kaylee Ryan's books. Her male characters are SO swoon worthy. They are strong, respectful, protective, and caring men. Like Holy Hotness Batman...their personality alone will make you hot. This book was no exception. I am an official Kaylee's Kick Ass Crew member, so it is pretty much a given that I will read anything that girl writes. She had me sucked in from the beginning of her writing days with one of my favorite book boy friends with Liam McCoy in Anywhere with You and keeps adding to that list with every man she writes about. Oh, God. I've been waiting a lot for this book. In fact, since Southern Pleasure, in 2015, because of course Aaron deserved his one and only. He was so sweet, such a good friend and brother... As much as I loved Evan and Kinley, I kept thinking about Aaron through out their story. His outlook on love seemed kind of warped, and I knew it would take a special woman to change his mind. Enter Whitney. She brought with her the kind of baggage that makes you want to cry. She is so strong, and determined to keep her distance at the beginning, that Aaron is forced to get to know her slowly. Before you know it, BAM! The feels in this book. WOW. I loved Aaron in the first book, and you could tell he was genuine, loving, and ready for "the one"- he just hadn't found her yet. Then Whitney comes along, and they become friends...extremely attracted to one another friends, but friends nonetheless...until it's more.

A perfect follow up to Southern Pleasure. I didn't think there was any way Evan could be topped, but then Aaron swoops in and he is HOT!!!! Aaron is a perfect combination of Southern gentleman, rugged outdoorsy man and sex on a stick. He falls hard for Whitney pretty early on and his mission to make her happy and take away her pain is beautiful. I love the roles Evan and Kinley and Lexi played in this story too. Another sweet 5 star read by Kaylee Ryan!

I read this book about 2 weeks to the anniversary of losing my mom to her 3rd battle with breast cancer. I understood so much of what Whitney was going through. Loved both her and Aaron. It was great to get to see some characters from the previous book as well!
I loved this book and this series. I especially love that we see all the previous book characters. Can't wait for more Kaylee Ryan books
