A very thought-provoking look at life, love, and death. A little bit of futuristic technology, but it feels very real, like it could easily happen in the present day. And maybe the book will inspire a brilliant computer programmer to invent the technology - or maybe not, given how the story ends. It depends on which characters they side with and whether or not they think it's actually a benefit to society. Loved it! Such a neat concept - heartbreaking. Super quick engaging read. Plus - I know the author! Well done Laurie!
