What Members Thought
I really enjoyed the book overall. It was beautifully written and had extremely vivid detail. McEwan's writing style puts you into the story and allows the reader to experience the drama unfolding in every chapter. For me, I felt that the ending was slightly disappointing that Briony never actually got the closure she was after, being that a large portion of the book was a description of her guilt for her crime.
