I think this book was wonderfully written. It kept me me on my toes til the very end. There were many exciting twists and turns that kept surprising me. I can’t wait for the second book!!!
I wasn't sure when going into this book if I was going to like it. I'm usually iffy about period pieces but this book grabbed me immediately and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The incorporation of magic in this world was amazing and I love the changing of it through the years. It is explained in such a way that is easy to fall into the world. I love the explanation that over the years magic has changed and sort of faded so much in people that something that was once a power is now more a skill someone

This book is a perfect blend of magic and time travel that is needed in life. The time travel is actually as confusing and plot driving as I think time travel should be. I mean you are messing with time lines and changing things it should lead to big changes in the plot and confusion! I have read too many time travel books where there seems to be no real consequences from doing it and I am glad to find a book that treats time travel with the gravity such a topic deserves. I loved this book! The cover of The Last Magician is what originally caught my eye and then when I saw that it was about magic I knew this was the book for me! When I started reading it I was immediately drawn into the world as it has present time and past times for the settings. The characters are beautifully written with great personalities and it’s hard to choose just one favorite character from the book! I definitely recommend this book to people who love history, magic, and a good storyline

Everything about this book is amazing. Characters, setting, plot, story telling, THE COVER! This book is getting a 5 star rating from me 100% and I’ll be diving into my ARC of The Devil’s Thief very very very soon.

This book was amazing!!!!
At first I struggled reading this book, because there was just soooo much going on; but those last 5 chapters kept me wanting more! All I can say is I’m excited that I don’t have to wait that long for book 2! Also esta and harte are ADORABLE!!! 😍😍

Intrigue, deception, romance,time travel and plot twists galore in this young adult historical fantasy.
This book is SO good. I absolutely love every single character and the plot is SO well done. Go read it. Please. It perfectly weaves fantasy, history, mischief, and heartbreak and stress all in one big ball and this series has grabbed my soul and I can’t stop thinking about it
I thought this book was like an adult Harry Potter. I was hanging on the every world. I loved Esta and her power to time travel.
Absolutely fantastic!!!!!!!!! Amazing series!!!!
