This is one of my favorite books for some reason. Love the look back into our history, but I think what was even more fun was the ranching and Ralph learning how to be a 'cowboy'(my lifelong dream as well). This is a great family story and one that reminds of how much our values have changed over the century. Some of that is a sad loss.
