I absolutely loved this book. The information that Hillenbrand provided in this story helped me see more clearly what the times were like in 1940's America. Zamperini was a clear hero and I so admired him, not just because of all he endured, but because he was brave enough to share his story. Even more so, when I find that he is "Unbroken" because of his faith in Christ. It's God who has worked a miracle not only in his heart, but in all the broken places of his life. This was a wonderful book! ...more
