Imagine, an "All Iowa Reads" book that I actually liked! This one was more mystery than I was expecting, even as I got quite a way into the story. And to be honest, I was a bit annoyed that coyotes were called 'Little Wolves', but by the end, I understood why. The story is set in Minnesota. A young man commits a violent act and the whole community reels under what's happened, not the least of whom is his father.
