I basically love Harry Potter as much as I love the Twilight series. I even stood in line past midnight to receive a copy of one of the HP books! That's a big deal for me ;-). Every Harry Potter story is a big favorite for our entire family. We are very sad that the movie series is almost complete. I remember finishing the final book and feeling such a deep feeling of sadness and loss because I could no longer be a part of the character's lives. Goblet of Fire is a perfect middle book to the Harry Potter series. It provides the event that is alluded to in the previous stories and kicks off the drama and danger that is an integral part of the rest of the books. But, unlike many middle books in a series, it does not flounder in that weird nothing-really-happens-here-because-I'm-not-introducing-a-story-nor-am-I-resolving-the-story gray area. The Goblet of Fire has its own strong story that adds dimension to the books following it.
