“Maybe ‘okay’ will be our ‘always”
So yah, the plot is rather basic....
Our primary character, Hazel, has cancer. This affliction has become part of her blood and sinew, tethering her in place. She spends her days being generally apathetic and reclusive. This is completely understandable, she has endured an insurmountable amount of health challenges, and when you get right down to it she is just really fucking angry. Some of the most memorable characters I've come across in a long time. I liked the book so much I immediately started rereading it. It's that good.

I'm bawling my eyes out right now and am speechless after having finished this book. I was a bit skeptical before starting it because of the hype, but now I can honestly understand exactly why everyone loves this book. It touched me in so many ways, and has become one of my favorite books of all time. Someday I will purchase this book, and will read it over many times. I cannot wait for the movie in June and know for sure the movie will be almost as incredible as this life changing book was.

It was a wonderful book with a cute love story and funny characters that you love and just want to root for. For me though I just couldn't really get into it that much. I'm unsure of as to why and for ...more

Very good book. Ended slightly different than what I was expecting and I didn't see the situation with Peter Van Houten developing. That was a surprise.

The Fault In Our Stars is the perfect title for this book. It goes to remind us that we never have anything or anyone truly figured out in minds. Life will and does throw us curve balls at every chance it has. I liked the character of Hazel. She wasn't a 'happy' cancer patient, she saw it and told it like it was, that one day she was going to die and held no punches. Albeit, I found her a bit too bitchy at times, I could understand why the writer made her so. Augustus was a great character as we
