Really enjoyed this one - thinking I will recommend it to my book club.

Siblings inherit a magic house that walks on chicken legs, and the older brother convinces the sister to take it on the road to do the puppet show their parents performed when they were kids. Strange occurrences follow.

A beautiful modern fairy-tale, wonderfully Jewish, and a memorable take on intergenerational trauma.

I started this when I was sick and having a tough time concentrating on audiobooks, so it was a bit of a rough go for me. I don't think that was the book's fault- while there was a lot of lead-up and backstory, the pacing felt good to me and the story felt like it swept me along.
