Oh, how I hated this book. It took me well over a month to read, which is a little unexpected considering it is a series of short stories, lasting around 100 pages long.
But the characters! Nary a one was likable. Every story seemed depressing. And on top of that, they were so short that there was no beginning, middle, or end in most of them.
