The story was great. Shame about the sex scenes that went into more graphic detail than was required. I listened as an audiobook and loved Humphrey Bowers' narration. And he can even sing - what a shame he isn't in the choir I'm in!!

A good story. There are many slow patches there are inconsistencies in the plot and the character of Danny and I think it is rushed from the end of the Olympics. Still a good read.
A great Aussie yarn!!! I thoroughly enjoyed it.
After securing a copy I was thankful I could enjoy this wonderful works. I love period writings and australian works give a snippet of days before
