Jo is a single mother of Leo, in his second year of primary school. She shares custody with Leo’s dad in an amicable arrangement that seems to work well for all involved and works, often from home, as a freelance writer and editor of a newsletter for a bookshop. Reads like fiction. Love Leo, who's only referred to Boomer once. Why the title isn't, Leo & Me, I can't fathom. While I enjoyed this memoir, it felt too long to me.

A funny, honest and affecting memoir about raising a son with Asperger's. It takes a little while to reel you in, but by the end Jo, Leo, Tony and the rest feel like family.
