I loved it! Fast paced, snappy dialogue... It held my attention in a way I haven't experienced in a while. In fact, I accidentally stayed up past midnight last night because I couldn't bare to go to sleep not knowing what happens next.

I have to confess I am not a fan of the novel's breezy manner of storytelling.
The Husband's Secret is written from three different points of view and the connection between the three narrators is gradually revealed over the course of the novel. I didn't find two of the leading characters very likable and while the third was likable, her connection to the other protagonists is tangential. The secret is somewhat easy to guess but the epilogue reveals a few unexpected plot twists.

The Aussie sense of humour used throughout helped to tone down the darker subject matter (view spoiler) . Liane Moriarty captures the essence of her characters along with Sydney's Northern suburbs extremely well (dramatised, of course). The character's themselves weren't necessarily people I felt inclined to like, with the exception of a few, but I could definitely sympathise with them.
