After the technical description I was clueless as to wether it was shot down, blown up, disintegrated or turned into a couch. BUT, I think that's just me, I think boys will pick up the tech talk quickly and enjoy it.

There were so many things about this book I really enjoyed. Nix has done some interesting things with the world he created. I didn't quite buy the emotional progression of Khem/Khemri, but it didn't matter too much.
