I believe Sally Breen captured the essence of growing up in South East Queensland in the 1980's and 1990's very well, there were many times I thought "yes thats just what it was like". As a teenager I don't think I would have liked her she would have fallen into the category of "pretty and she knows it". I think you need to have a certain level of narcissism to write this type of book, it is not a memoir of someone that has done some amazing things or been through any hardship that most of don't
