I took my time reading David's compilation of wonderful poetry. The verses flow, his words are an amazing journey...he took me back to times I could remember as a child...places I'd been and enjoyed. The wonderful variation, the magic of his words, from the beautiful black cockatoos, galahs and crimson rosellas, to the poem titled 'Diggers', where David mentioned the Rats of Tobruk, of which my uncle was one.
