What a story, truly I finished this one last night and I am writing the review this morning and I am still teary as I type, again Phillipa Nefri Clark has taken us back to the wonderful town of River’s End and introduced us to wonderful characters, the emotions flow in this one and you will need tissues when you read this awesome duel timeline, this is one not to be missed, come along and meet Sadie and Rebecca.

It’s been a while since I’ve read another book by this author and even though this is entirely different to Last Known Contact which is a crime book, the writing is excellent.
Usually dual timelines are found in historical fiction but with The Cottage at Whisper Lake, this involves looking back at the past and what eventually leads to present which was fascinating. I loved the characters of Sadie, who should have been an investigative journalist, Pam her long suffering mother and of course Rebecc ...more
