Costas was fishing in his little seaside town of NSW. He loved to fish, but he was packing up, not having caught anything this time, when his line snagged a big one. After a massive effort to land it, he was horrified to see the body of a naked young woman at his feet.

Detective Adam Bennett was called to the scene, and once the coroner had given his preliminary findings, she was taken to the morgue. But to Adam’s surprise, she didn’t appear on any of the Missing Persons lists, with no leads com Costas was fishing in his little seaside town of NSW. But to Adam’s surprise, she didn’t appear on any of the Missing Persons lists, with no leads coming after DNA testing either. It was almost as if she didn’t exist. With his investigation stalling, he came across another Jane Doe who had been unidentified for some time, and she had also been washed up on a beach, this time in Brisbane.

With his findings linking other unidentified bodies which had been found along Australia’s coastline, and also in the US, he knew he needed to bring in more teams from the different departments across Australia and the US.

Kate Kovacs worked as an IT consultant, and was currently working at a scientific research centre in the same town as the young woman had been found. She knew Adam, they had been seeing each other for a couple of weeks. When Kate’s beloved brother Greg, who worked in the NT, was discovered brutally murdered, she had no idea her life had just changed dramatically.

With Adam and Kate discovering strange but tenuous links between Greg’s death and the unidentified bodies, and information which went back as far as the war in Vietnam, the pace stepped up. They knew there were secrets much bigger than anything they’d ever faced before, and the criminals were determined they would remain secret. They also knew they were in great danger…

This suspense thriller was absolutely brilliant! There were quite a few plots, which all tied in together by the finish….there were also a lot of characters, but after the first few chapters I was able to keep up. The twists and turns were there, and the incredible pace of this novel made it one I had difficulty putting down. I downloaded Aussie author Iain Edward Henn’s next novel, Disappear, as soon as I’d finished this one!

I would highly recommend this novel to all the thriller lovers out there.
