I have no words.....but I'll find some to describe this book to you.
Yesturday afternoon I started reading "Stolen" by Lucy Christopher.I got a text from my sister a month back which read : "Stolen by Lucy Christopher...buy it"
So I did.....It arrived last week.
I devoured 100 pages in one sitting, then took a short break to acknowledge the existence of my partner before he went to work - night shift - then sped through another 100 pages. With 90 pages left to go, I didnt get that early night I want ...more

I have always had a fascination with kidnappings. Mostly what fascinates me is how victims cope with their situation to survive and how they can sometimes develop Stockholm Syndrome.
I also enjoyed that it was set in the Australian Desert (Can you feel the Aussie Pride?) and Lucy Christopher perfectly described how harsh but beautiful it can be. It's been a while since I've read a book from cover to cover, but wow, I could not put this book down. Every page had me wanting to turn the next and then the next, eager to find out more. I think I fell in love with the hero before the heroine did, which was weird knowing that he'd literally taken her from everyone and e

I really did quite like this book, but i felt there was something missing. I dont know what though..I think reading the reviews on goodreads kinda hyped up my expectations.
It had a good storyline, I've always been fascinated by the concept of Stockholm Syndrome. I guess it just shows how much we humans need to be able to relate to another, even if its your kidnapper.
The characterisation was done quite well, particularly Ty. I wish it was done form his perspective because I would love to know w ...more
