The first in this series, Wild Dogs was such a fantastic read, I absolutely loved it. Originally it was supposed to be a stand alone but the author was convinced to make a change and also, to give Gabe another adventure (and there’s since been a third one as well) and we’re all the better for it because Gabe is a great character. A rough-around-the-edges but with a heart of gold type of guy, deeply grieving a loss in his past, living a solitary life that involves a little too much drinking away
