Just WOW again, I know Dave Burrows is yours Fleur McDonald and I thank you so much for sharing him with me, this is another awesome rural suspense, you take me to the outback, you pull me in and I feel like I am a part of the story, another keeper.

An entertaining tale, well-paced & with a fabulous setting. Dave Burrows & Bob Holden are likeable, believable characters. The investigation was good & the issues surrounding faced by farming families & the small communities around them were interesting. Bloody hard work when you're effectively running a small business, working sunup to sundown, & having to share the proceeds with non-working family members. Who wants to work 15 hours a day for minimum wage? No wonder so many of them end up with ...more
