I've read several of Liane Moriarty's books, and loved them all, but this was my least favourite so far. All the others have been real page turners and I've been so eager to find out what happens - they're full of twists and tins. This one, meh, not so much. There were a couple of little surprises, but in all honestly I just wasn't invested in the characters enough to feel much about them. The book starts off in a restaurant where triplets Cat, Lyn and Gemma are celebrating their thirty-fourth birthday. The Kettle triplets seem to attract attention wherever they go, two of them are identical, Lyn and Cat, who are both married and successful and Gemma who single and unpredictable. They are out celebrating their birthday and it comes to am abrupt end with a very public violent argument and emergency dash to the hospital. A quirky, fun and drama filled novel about the Kettle family particularly focused on the triplets and their relationship.
