A fabulous story, set in Melbourne and it felt perfectly right to this local.

The language, feel of the city and football references and culture were all perfect. I enjoyed it very much and all the more as it satisfied my parochial tendencies when I find a story set in my home city.

The story, characters and the other elements of the story were all very good too but I won't elaborate, as they're discussed by others. What I can emphasise is that it rang perfectly true.
