Paranormal romantic suspense. Fast-paced, easy reading, with likeable characters & extremely bad baddies.

I did find Mercy's constant need to change Damon's point of view quite irritating. After all, she'd barely known him 5 seconds & wasn't willing to give any ground herself. Hardly the basis of a great romance - find your soul mate & instantly set out to re-shape him. The man, or dragon, is a Council-paid assassin, it's what he does, just let him get on

This is the second in the Myth & Magic series.
I liked it - a lot... but then I like a lot of Keri's books - it is completely plausible and given that the dragons are living in plain sight and anyone who diviates from that are eliminated, it is easy to slip into the world Keri builds...

What a great pnr dragon book.

Oh those naughty, snobby dragons and what they do to the Draman (half human, half dragon), and of course our h is a draman, Mercy Wilson. She has the scars to prove it.

Our H meanwhile is a tough assassin dragon, Muerthe, Damon, working for the Dragon Council.
"But however dangerous Death might be, however moody he might be, there was one inescapable fact.
He was also damn hot"

Both are trying to track down what happened to missing dragons and dramans in nowhere Nevada.
