Another great Australian mystery! The story is set in South Australia's wine country and revolves around a woman who went missing, leaving her baby alone at a busy festival, a year before the events of the book.

I loved The Dry (the first book in the Aaron Falk series) and then was a bit disappointed in the second book in the series (Force of Nature). I was happy to find Exiles to be every bit as good as the Aaron Falk debut. I love the sense of place Harper brings to her novels--this time the wine country in rural South Australia. It is a setting at the convergence of a rural town, surrounding agricultural land, and the bush and they all play their part in the plot and the character development. There

The storyline is quite different than previous outings as it concentrates more on Aaron's personal life as he interacts with his friends during a week's long gathering.
