Another great Australian mystery! The story is set in South Australia's wine country and revolves around a woman who went missing, leaving her baby alone at a busy festival, a year before the events of the book.

The book sees the return of Aaron Faulk who has previously appeared in two other Harper books and features other characters we first met in 'The Dry'. 'Exiles' focuses on Aaron's personal life to a greater extent than the previous two books do and we get a much better sense of who the cha

I loved The Dry (the first book in the Aaron Falk series) and then was a bit disappointed in the second book in the series (Force of Nature). I was happy to find Exiles to be every bit as good as the Aaron Falk debut. I love the sense of place Harper brings to her novels--this time the wine country in rural South Australia. It is a setting at the convergence of a rural town, surrounding agricultural land, and the bush and they all play their part in the plot and the character development. There ...more

Another fabulous Jane Harper novel featuring Aaron Falk set in a small town in the South Australian wine region. Aaron is attending a christening of the son of his friends Rita and Greg Raco, but the town’s food and wine festival is also on. Greg Raco, a policeman, is unsettled and does not believe Kim wo ...more

A mother disappears from a festival supposedly leaving her daughter's pram unattended, never to return. But what exactly happens to Kim Gillespie. Her teen daughter Zara and former partner Charlie are keen to find out. Add to the fact that Charlie's brother is a police officer and believes that there is more to this than meets the eye. Of course, we have Aaron Falk, federal investigator who is in town on holiday, but he takes an interest in the case as well.
What can I say, another great story fr

This final installment in the Aaron Falk series is another outstanding mystery. The storyline is quite different than previous outings as it concentrates more on Aaron's personal life as he interacts with his friends during a week's long gathering. However, there are two unsolved mysteries that have yet to be solved. One is the disappearance that occurred the year prior at the annual festival. The other is a hit and run from several years ago that has yet to solved. So far, the only li
