This book and I did not start on a good footing. I have to confess that the fault is mine. It is in my nature to dislike series with different main characters in the sequel and so, I found it hard to start reading this book. I am glad that I persisted though.

There are 5 sisters in this series: Tatiana, Jena, Iulia, Paula, and Stela. Book 1, Wildwood Dancing revolves mainly with Tati & Jena with POV being Jena's. This book is about Paula and lessons she needed to learn. Of course, what kind of li

I loved this book so much, it was so beautifully written and I was very emotionally connected I felt like I was in the book living it out.

I borrowed these (and wildwood dancing) because a girl (13 or so) said she really enjoyed them. They are ripping good yarns that lean heavily on folklore and fairy tales and have a very Baba Yaga/ central europe flavour to them.
