Well, everyone was right. Great story. Read many war books before, but this one was great in the way it was written and that it was written by Deaths perspective. When I started the book, I was worried about the excerpts that appeared, but it did not take long for me to enjoy them and look forward to them, as well as the summary/dot points at the beginning of the chapters.

I loved this book. What an unusual perspective it has, I was completely taken away by it and I devoured every word.Beautiful. Tragic.Meaningful.
There are no winners in war.

This is such a beautiful story. It made me cry more than once and the characters were amazingly developed. So beautifully written too. One of my new favourites.
