This was not my favourite book by this author, but it was absorbing and I now know more about tennis than I ever wanted to. Loved the rhythm of the story, especially the short paragraphs with anecdotes from minor/unseen characters. Liked the ending, but bit unsure about the arrival of COVID into the story, but suspect that will be common now, since it has been a major event in most peoples lives. Probably give this 4.5 stars if possible.

Enjoyed delving into the intricacies of the Delaney family.
When Joy, the matriarch, disappears, suspicion is cast on her husband Stan.
And how does their unexpected houseguest, Savannah, fit into the mystery?

Entertaining.

This is a story about a typical family..
But not everything is how it seems...
The wife and mother disappears..
The family starts to point fingers.. Rehashing dramas from months ago..
The police want to arrest someone, but when the dust settles, the real psychopath is revealed! Great read!

Suspicions fall on a young woman who turned up on their doorstep the year before, Savannah. She told lies abou ...more
