What Members Thought

A fun read. Seems to be aimed at a younger audience than the "Old Kingdom" series but enjoyable, nonetheless. Plenty of action & adventure & some very close calls. Arthur has some extreme asthma which makes his day-to-day life perilous at the best of times, but he rises to the occasion with some magical help. Suzy Turquoise Blue is an excellent sidekick.

This started ok, but I felt it more or less fell apart in the second half. The characters stumbled and lurched through This! And That! And more mortal peril! while barely protagging at all in a world that didn't hold together for me. In the end I just failed to care. I love the other Nixes I've read, but this just isn't for me.

Heaps of surreal and twisted fun.
A certain attendant of Mister Monday (won't say who or it would be a spoiler) gives some snuff to an inspector. This official arrives on the surface of a dead sun with the intention of checking to see if a single Clause from the Will of the absent Architect of the universe is locked safely and irretrievably away... forever. The Architect has appointed trustees who have a vested interest in insuring the Will is never read.
