This is a book about a housewive who embarks on several secret sexual forays after she discovers her husband banged her best friend.
I felt like the writer didnt quite achieve what she was trying to in this book and it came off as rather tacky. For this reason I understand the writer's disappointment in having been tracked down as the author of this book having intended to issue it as an anonymous work.
Great writers like Elfride Jelinek have done it with a lot more sophistication in their story ...more
